Is Your Company a Polaroid or Radio Shack or is it an Uber or Zappos?

As you look forward and you think about your business. It’s probably been successful for a long time

Reflecting on the miscarriage of so many businesses, is your company exposed as Polaroid? Despite it’s inventing a new technology for a market that wasn’t there, the company watched its business disappear to Kodak who subsequently saw it taken by the iPhone.

And why didn’t RadioShack succeed by selling cables required by most wireless devices? Unfortunately, it did not stay unique and lost out to the big-box stores?

Looking forward in your business, how can you assure that it becomes an Uber and Zappos? All these businesses use disruptive innovation and technology and stay far closer to customer needs.

So what’s it going to be? I hope you think and believe that Uber and Zappos are a much better and attractive option than a Polaroid or a Radio Shack.
